The position of the Student Information System Specialist has been established to provide support for the Infinite Campus and various systems that are required for student data needs in the district.
DUTIES

• Work with Teachers and Staff dealing with Gradebooks and Course Management.
• Create Ad-Hocs and basic SQL scripting for state reporting submissions, state testing requirements, and other district-mandated reports, programs, or functions
• Collaborate with internal and external resources to gather information for project and data requirements
• Maintain the data accuracy and integrity of district systems by creating and running reports
• Maintain an awareness of various webinars and training sessions available to district personnel
• Responds to written and verbal inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources for the purpose of providing information and/or providing direction for district systems
• Serve as a point of contact for Infinite Campus SIS.
• Working with parents/guardians on account issues.
• Attends appropriate professional development.
• All other duties as assigned. PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Ability to follow procedures, work with others, multi-task and communication and organization skills are essential.
• Successful candidates will show eagerness to learn and research new technologies.
• SQL coding experience is preferred.
• Able to use Excel in an advanced manner with various data types.
• Able to Communicate effectively with parents and staff with different types of student related data applications.
• Able to spend long periods of time in front of a computer. QUALIFICATIONS
  
• Information Technology Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in management of information systems or a related field is preferred
• Experience in a technology field or experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation as travel between district buildings may be required.
  Salary ?Range: $50,000 to $70,000 based on experience.
